I can't join a friend's room — the code doesn't work.

Codes are 6 letters, case-insensitive. Make sure the host hasn't already started the round (codes only join during the waiting phase). Have them tap "Share" and send you the link instead.

One of my friends is on Android. Can they play?

Yes. The host can add them as a "shared-device" player from the lobby. The host's phone will pass over for their turn and walk them through privately.

My searches show up but I never see results.

Realtime updates need internet. Switch off airplane mode and pull-to-refresh. If still stuck, leave the room and rejoin with the same name.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Search Snitch → Cancel. Apple, not us, controls billing.

Can I delete my account?

Search Snitch doesn't have user accounts in the traditional sense — your device gets an anonymous identifier on first launch and your searches are wiped when the room ends. To remove your local identifier, just delete the app.

Something inappropriate was submitted by another player. How do I report it?

On the round-result screen, tap "Report this search" — it opens a prefilled email so you only have to hit send. We respond to reports within 48 hours and ban repeat offenders.
